AMF King Cobra
There’s a new Cobra in town, boasting a lower RG and nearly twice the di!erential than its predecessor. The King Cobra features the traditional lightbulb core matched with our F55 coverstock to provide a smooth, continuous motion on medium lane conditions.

What a surprise! This ball is awesome. Simply put, this ball is awesome! After the re-release of the popular Cobra, I didn’t think AMF could come out with something better, but I am glad I was wrong. The King Cobra gets down the lane so smooth, and when it makes its move you will know it. Heck, everyone in the bowling alley will know it! This ball gets more pin action than most other balls I have in my arsenal right now. Like getting those light mixing strikes? This is the perfect ball, anytime it sniffs the head pin you can be assured that pins will be moving around! The black and red color scheme works well and looks good sitting up on the rack! If you want a ball you can throw in league or on a tournament shot, this is the one! I highly recommend this ball to everyone I bowl with. Congrats AMF on a great release can’t wait to see what is coming next!

The King Cobra is back but better than ever! Drilled mine 5 1/2" from PAP, pin up, cg directly over palm. This ball b\does nothing flashy but that's where it performs! The ball OOB at 4000 looks like it's 500 grit! I was scared to even try it without a surface change but I went with it on THS pattern 39 feet AMF synthetics. 721. Actually 1st 4 times using the ball resulted in 700's! The King Cobra wants to roll, roll and finish. Not too much early hook but surprisingly continuous on the backend even OOB. WANTS to dig 10, wants to hold and trip 4's. Of course needs a little oil up front but I was able to stay square, only a small loop needed to hold pocket. Extra speed held the ball on line when lanes broke down. It's really a true lane reader and begs to hit the pocket! What a benchmark bark! 1st one out of bag on THS. Polished it was a little more skid/flippy but really stayed the course as a chugging, rolly continuous ball with a touch more skid up front. For the price tag this is the BEST AMF of the year by far!

The King Cobra is back and this is not your dads King Cobra, this one is better!! I drilled mine pin under the ring with now weight hole and used a "t" pad from neat system on surface. This ball has a nice and tight flare that is about 3 inches, it really makes a nice controlled move down the lane. And if you get it in a little even on sport patterns it still catches the pocket, it will recover also if you get it a little left of target down the lane. After throwing it on scorpion I was very impressed by its core to cover combination gave me the ability to have a little area down the lane. But to cut to the chase, I want to tell you that if you are going to USBC Open this year. IT IS A MUST HAVE!!! You will not be disappointed. I have been bowling in usbc open for over 25 years now and carry a 200+ average out there. So I think I have a fairly good idea of what will and won't work out there. Also you high rev rate guys will love this ball on house patterns also, due to its tight flare. My favorite AMF ball that has came out this season. GO GET IT!!

This is a great ball for tournaments, particularly sport shots, in my opinion. Ball has a nice dull cover, that grips to the lane, and finishes smoothly. I look forward to throwing this ball in my next tournament $$$. I feel this ball would be good for many different style bowlers, depending ont he drilling. As a down-and-in bowler with medium-fast ball speed, I found that The King Cobra helped me get to the pocket easier on a medium to oily pattern, and helped carry more - not leaving so many corner pins!

Nothing can be called King of the Lanes more than the AMF King Cobra.
The F55 cover may sound weak compared to other AMF balls, but the King
Cobra is a total hook monster at a mid level price. I drilled two
balls differently, and they both start their move to the pocket sooner
than anything I've ever owned. Drilled one with pin centered above
fingers, CG around center of grip. The other is drilled with pin in
center of span, and CG kicked left and down with a balance hole. The
layouts compliment each other as lane conditions change. I haven't
used them on a challenging pattern yet, but they destroy a THS. Check

great addition to the cobra.
lets you open up yhe lane just a bit more
stronger at the pocket for better corner carry
still has plenty of energy even on some carry down

Big bank for the buck. Nice midland with a strong back end.
