Day 3 at the US OPEN
February 2, 2023 - Today, we bowled the 3rd day of qualifying on a 39ft flat pattern. Going into today, I was sitting 12th and really wanted a safe game-plan. Our squad was first to bowl at 8am so we didn’t have the luxury of watching the other players bowl on the pattern. Without seeing squads before us and what they were throwing and how they were playing the lanes, I made the decision to play the lanes very safe. Day 2 of the US OPEN
February 1, 2023 - Day 2 at the US Open was a completely different game plan than day 1. On the 43 ft "top hat-like" pattern, it created an opportunity for good scores. Even though they were much more playable than day one, I had to keep in mind that it’s still the US open and patience is everything.

FRANÇOIS LAVOIE WINS KIA PBA TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS FOR THIRD MAJOR TITLE
BuddiesProShop.com Tour Player, Francois Lavoie ran the step ladder to win the KIA PBA Tournament of Champions. This is Francois' 3rd major title and 5th overall PBA title. Francois defeated Sean Rash, Jesper Svensson, Jason Belmonte and Anthony Simonsen to take home the $100,000 first prize.
