900 Global Harsh Reality Pearl Bowling Ball

The Harsh Reality Pearl is a great compliment to the Harsh Reality. It gives the same strength the original Harsh Reality does but with more length. This ball will also give bowlers room to move left and shape the ball with no fear of it recovering. 900 Global has really been coming out with some great balls and including the AI Core really separates them from the rest. With coming back from injury this ball has given me something I might end up needing towards the end of the night when I need to move in.

I tested this ball on a 43 feet typical house pattern with a lot of down lane transition. As mid to low rev player I struggle with ball reaction when the lanes breakdown and I’m forced to move left of the 25 board. I was standing between the 25 and 32 boards and rolling the Altered Reality to right, it continued to hit the pocket and continued to strike. My ball layout is 50x5x40. This ball is awesome. The Harsh Reality Pearl is the newest pearl ball in the 900 Global line. It features the new Reserve Blend 902 Pearl Reactive cover and the Disturbance A.I. Asymmetric Core. This ball is going to sit at the top of your bag strength wise. For me this ball shapes like the Harsh Reality and will be a good step down but still has the same pop downlane. I compared mine to the DNA Coil and Attention Star. I have the HRP a ball above the DNA Coil and a couple balls above the Attention Star. The HRP is going to need some oil to look its best due to it being so strong. I think the HRP is the closest thing we have to the Altered Reality shape wise but being a touch stronger. Dual Angle Layout: 50 x 4 ½ x 70 Storm Vector Layout: 4 ½ x 4 ¼ x 4 1/8 The Harsh Reality Pearl is a strong Asymmetrical Pearl that provides great length and strong backend reaction. This ball is the closest I’ve seen to the Altered Reality to date. I drilled mine pin down due to the fact that I did not have a strong assym pearl drilled pin down so this one is not quite as strong off the spot as normal but that was by intention.
