How to measure track diameter
The bowling ball used in this example has been used for several games and displays a visable track around the entire bowling ball.
Using a wax pencil, you can trace the track line around the ball. If your ball does not have any track markings, then you can throw a shot and trace the track line closest to the fingers and thumb hole.
With your track traced completely around the ball, you can measure your track diameter. The ball in the example shows a 11 3/4 inch track diameter. |
