Origin
This ball is STRONG!! The new Origin features a new cover and core combo that hooks a bunch. This piece slots above the S2, VEBO, and while its longer than the Ion Max, it can cover more boards. For a shiny hybrid, this ball hooks downlane enough that I can slow hook this ball and chase the shot in. The versatility of this ball really surprised me as well. I can use it to blend out the cliff on fresh, and as they open up it keeps going as I move in. The other ball I use to blend is the Ion Max, but it can get a little early/slow as the lanes start to break down. The cleaner cover on the Origin keeps it in play much longer. This clean, strong, continuous asym is at the top of my bag and really splits the difference between tippy and blendy. The usability here is surprisingly good, and this is gonna be a ball that matches up to a lot of different styles on a lot of different conditions/surfaces. This is hook-in-a-box in the BEST way! -Chase Valenzuela

900 Global Origin – stronger than you think!
Bowlers Info: RH tweener, PAP 4-5/8 x 3/4 up, 380 RPM, 13* of Axis tilt, 60* of Axis Rotation Ball Layout: 50 x 5 x 70 VLS: 5 x 4 x 4.5 Finish: OOB The new 900 Global Origin with the PowerEdge polish is much stronger than I thought!!! I went with a pin down 5 x 4 x 4.5 where I was wanting to keep the ball under control for fresher patterns still demanded stronger, but controlled backend. What I didn’t anticipate is how strong the cover and PowerEdge was even in oil! This ball is pretty early for me where I will need more oil for this to be more in play. I can also see this as a transition piece where there is a “cliff”, this piece can more than likely handle those types of transitions. The new core really throws these pins around once it reaches the deck that’s for sure!! If you’re looking for an earlier, cleaner piece, then the Origin is for you!!! 900 Global Origin – WWRD 11/22/2024
Cover: RB93 Hybrid Reactive Core: Ellipse A.I. RG: 2.48 RG. Diff.: 0.050 Finish: Power Edge 900 Global’s new Origin is a Hybrid Asymmetrical piece that is good for Heavy-Medium Volume patterns. PAP is 5 5/16 R 1 3/16 Up. Rev Rate: 400. Speed: 16.5. Drilled this piece with the Pin up between the fingers, CG kicked out 1” from the palm, and 1” Left of the Mass Bias. I threw this piece on a fresh house pattern. Out of Box ball motion started in the mids with a sharp backend reaction through the pins. I compared this to the Harsh Reality Pearl. The Harsh Reality Pearl started earlier in the midlane with a smooth motion on the back end. This Origin will be a good piece to start a block or game 1 in league with enough oil on the lanes. This piece will be good for all types of styles. Check Out the Ball motion Video on my YouTube Page: https://youtube.com/shorts/rgxT03W-yvE

Origin
900 Global Origin - 900 Series Coverstock: Reserve Blend 93 Hybrid - Power Edge Core: Ellipse A.I. RG: 2.48 Differential: .050 (15 lbs) PSA: .020 Layout: 5.5 x 4.5 x 3 PAP: 6" Right, 1 3/8" Up Axis Tilt: 16° Rotation: 51° Rev Rate: 450-500 Speed: 17-18 mph Location: Vista Lanes - Yorkville, NY Pattern: Kegel Carbon Lane Surface: HPL The Origin is the first of an all new series from 900 Global, that features brand new cover and core technology. Reserve Blend 93 hybrid coverstock with Power Edge was designed to provide unmatched performance on medium to heavy patterns. The Ellipse A.I core was created to push the boundaries of asymmetric performance, allowing for maximum energy retention to generate an aggressive backend reaction. The Origin is the only hybrid asymmetric ball in the 900 Global lineup and should fit nicely between the Harsh Reality and Harsh Reality Pearl. The Origin gave me a great look sliding on 30, looking 17 at the arrows with my breakpoint around 6-7. I was able to move left and not sacrifice ball motion and carry with speed and hand position adjustments. When compared to the Harsh Reality Solid, the Origin was cleaner through the fronts and created more downlane motion. Depending on the pattern and lane surface, the Origin could be the first ball out of your bag or a number two ball after the Harsh Reality starts to burn up. I can see the Origin getting a lot of use in league because of the cliffed pattern. The Origin sets a new standard for dynamic core technology, delivering unmatched control and power with every throw. Stop by your local Storm VIP pro shop to check it out! Available on November 22nd. 900 Global Origin
900 Global Origin Review Layout-VLS 5x4 3/8x2 Surface-Storm Power Edge The 900 Global features a new Ellipse Asymmetrical AI core wrapped in the new RB93 Hybrid Coverstock. The Origin core uses a very strong intermediate diff which makes it very strong at the breakoint. The Origin will be a great compliment to the to the 900 Global lineup. Compared to the Harsh Reality Pearl you will see more length and a stronger move at the breakpoint with no quit on the backend. The Orgin will still read the midlane but with a strong angular motion on the backend creating a strong enrty angle. The Orgin reminds me alot of the OG Zen through the fronts but with a strong backend motion. Available November 22nd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Origin Review
Layout: 4 1/2 x 4 x 3 Surface: Power Edge Rev Rate: 470 Tilt: 13* The 900 Global Origin brings a brand-new core and coverstock combination to the 900 series lineup. The Core is the brand-new Ellipse AI Core and coverstock is the brand new RB93 Hybrid. The combination of these two bring a new look on the lanes for the lineup. The Sapphire/Sky/Purple colors really pop on the shelf and on the lanes making it very easy to recognize the rotation of the ball as it goes down the lane. The RB93 Hybrid coverstock feels like it has a lot of teeth to it. It can handle heavier oil with ease, and it shows in its performance. What makes this ball stand out, is its continuation. On my 44ft Typical House Pattern, the strength of the core allows this ball to be used on the fresh where you still need the ball to slow down enough to strike. The coverstock also allows this ball to in to out on the lanes if that is more of your strength. The versatility of this ball will allow this ball to be used in multiple transiti

Origin Review by Kyle, Joel, & Dean Johnson
900 Global Origin Cover: Reserve Blend 93™ Hybrid Reactive with Power Edge Core: Ellipse™ A.I. Core (Asymmetrical) Color: Sapphire/Sky/Purple Review: 900 Global is really hitting the mark with their releases as of late and we are really excited for this hybrid variation. SPI has been on a slight hiatus from the asymmetrical hybrids as of late (not counting the magic gem). We drilled this ball with our normal layout: tweener, 350-375 revs, 16.5mph, layout of choice is 4x4x2 (pin is above bridge). This is one of those bowling balls that is a home run for me. I love these smooth yet angular bowling balls that seem to retain energy for days. It is literally if the harsh reality solid and pearl had a baby (only because there isn’t a harsh hybrid). This ball is what I would categorize as a house shot killer. Even though it may be slightly too strong to stay in all 3 games, you seem to have infinite miss room right. Add that miss room with the AI core technology and wow this ball really is a game changer. If you have the chance stop by a Matchmaker and try out the Origin today! The Origin
900 Global The Origin Coverstock: Reserve Blend 93 Hybrid Finish: Power Edge Core: Ellipse Core with A.I. (14 pd) RG: 2.49 Differential: 0.050 Int Diff: 0.020 Layout: 4 1/2 x 5 x 4 - 2LS Layout Extras: 2 1/8 Finger Depth, "X" - 4 1/2 D and 1 Inch Left Tester: PAP 6 1/2 R, 1 1/4 D Review: The Origin features an all new coverstock/core combination. The excitement around this ball is huge. Where it will fit in your bag is right under your big asymmetrical pieces such as your 900 Global Harsh Reality and/or your Harsh Reality Pearl. One thing you will notice the core is a completely different shape but the "numbers" are similar to other 900 releases such as the Sublime and the Sublime Focus. Although the Origin is an asym offering compared to a symmetrical you will find The Origin will fit nicely in an arsenal. What does this mean to you? It means your Origin new coverstock along with the new Power Edge finishing will give you length and still retain energy. It also means when your big asymmetrical balls start to labor The Origin will start to shine during the transition period. A good ball within the 900 Global line to compare The Origin to is the Sublime. The reason why is the Sublime concept is good but the Reacta Gloss finish untouched could make this ball slightly unpredictable. Specifically the Sublime was a touch to clean and a bit late off the spot. The Origin with Power Edge appears to match up much better with the OOB finish. A much deeper analysis will be coming as a few SPI MatchMaker events will be coming up to round out the year. My speed tends to be slower, so bigger balls burning up early can be a common occurrence before I change surfaces or let lane shine build up. The Origin with Power Edge takes some of the above out of play which I'm excited about. Also, out in the eastern region lane beds are continuing to get older and older. The need to create length and control with bowling ball offerings is continuing to grow. For me, I did not do any surface adjustments on The Origin. It was not needed and I'm satisfied with the OOB surface as is. 900 Global Origin Review
The 900 Global Origin comes with the RB 93 Hybrid Reactive cover, Ellipse Asymmetric A.I. Core, and power Edge finish. This cover and core are new from 900 Global. The strength chart that we got during the release had this ball in the mid-range but it most certainly is not. It is much stronger than I was expecting and to me it is SPI’s strongest ball out right now. I compared this ball to the harsh pearl and I have it stronger. The hard pearl is a touch cleaner and weaker for me. Maybe it is the new Power Edge finish because it feels closer to Step 2 and so far, it is really good. If you are needing a shiny ball for more oil, then this is the ball to get. It is really good and a great release from 900 Global. Origin
I drilled the new 900 Global Origin 5x4.5x2 using the storm Vls layout system. This layout paired with this ball helps it conserve energy for the end of the pattern. The ball features a brand-new cover/core combo with the RB 93 Hybrid Cover paired with the Ellipse Asym Ai core. This ball gets through the front and the middle of the lane clean with the help of the new Power Edge finish. This ball comes off the spot down lane hard and gets through the pins nicely. The Origin is similar the the Harsh Reality Pearl in the way it stands up and gets through the pins. Personally, I think the Harsh reality Pearl is a bit stronger than the origin, but they both complement each other very well. For me, this ball is in the 3 spot in a 6-ball tournament bag. I highly recommend picking one up on November 22nd!
