The Sublime Focus!
Sublime Focus • 900 Global • Reserve Blend 800 Series Coverstock •Reserve Blend 804 Solid • Finish 2000-Grit Abralon Core • Immersed Symmetric A.I. Core Weight • 15 lbs. RG • 2.47 Differential • .056 Layout •4 1/2 x 3 3/4 x 2 1/8 Tester PAP • 5” R, 5/8” D Tester Axis Tilt • 9° Testers Rev Rate • 250 Test Pattern • 42’ THS (Typical House Shot) • Modified, Kegel Stone Street 900 Global has released another striking success with the Sublime Focus. From my first release on the lanes, I found the combination of the Immersed Symmetric A.I. and Reserve Blend 804 Solid coverstock to bring consistent, predictable, and powerful results to my Sublime Focus. And as a straighter player, I couldn’t ask for a better symmetrical solid combination. So, let’s take a closer look at what makes the Sublime Focus the ball to add to your arsenal! The Immersed Symmetric A.I. Core brings a dual combination of precision and intensity to the Sublime Focus. The inner Immersed Symmetric Core is a large barbell-shaped core. And because of that shape and size, it allows us slower rev players to build the momentum we need at the pins without the ball running out of gas and leaving a flat ten. Further, unlike small, quicker rev’ing symmetric cores, I liked how its rev’ing motion was predictable, consistent, and, most importantly -where I wanted to see it! Straighter players like me will be more confident in their shot with the Immersed Symmetric Core. Further, when you add the A.I. Technology to the Immersed Symmetric Core, you have the intensity at the pins we straighter players love to see, especially from a symmetrical ball. I loved how the Immersed A.I. Symmetric crushes at the pins. And with the added A.I. technology, I could count on the Sublime Focus to carry my weakest and light off my hand shots! So, if you’re a straighter, low-rev player like me, the Immersed Symmetric A.I. Core can be your best friend. The Reserve Blend (R.B.) 804 Solid Coverstock is another example of 900 Global’s ingenuity in the modern game. The RB 804 is an excellent solid mixture that works well in many different types of conditions. Yes, it is a solid, so of course, it works well on fresh THS conditions. However, what I liked most about the RB 804 Solid was its ability to easily blend the many different types of challenging conditions. In particular, when straighter players like me are up against high-rev urethane bowlers, navigating around them can be difficult, and finding a line that will score - is quite frustrating. However, with the RB 804, I liked how the RB 804 blended the over-under and erratic conditions urethane leaves behind. I enjoyed staying in my comfort zone and still having room to create a motion that keeps me in the pocket. So, if you are a straighter player like me, you can count on the Reserve Blend 804 Solid to get you through some of those rough conditions and keep you in the match. In closing, 900 Global has done an outstanding job releasing the Sublime Focus, and the Sublime Focus is certainly not a choice you want to overlook. The Sublime Focus for any straighter player like me is strong, predictable, and reliable, and it will be an excellent choice to add to your arsenal. So, stop into your local Storm VIP Pro Shop today and have your Sublime Focus ready for tonight’s league! It is well worth it! VOLUME NEEDED
An off the press #rotoryanreview of the 900 Global Sublime Focus. Lay out 40x5x60, by Tanner Johnson at BeeJayz proshop, located inside Southern Lanes Owensboro If you know anything about the Southern Lanes house shot, you know ball motion is earned there; especially on the left side. Overall, I was shocked at how versatile this ball was for being so big and rolly. The Focus handled straighter angles well and really blended out my misses left on the fresh. Once the lanes opened up, (cause I had another lefty on the pair), I was able to move right on one of the tightest pairs in the house and still create ball motion through the pins. I was really impressed with this ball. I’ve been wanting a big symmetric ball to handle volume; and this is for sure it. I also think this ball is great for the speed dominant or low rev players who like to play straighter angles. #rotoryan #beejayzproshop #TeamGlare #TeamBBR #900Global #biggerthanbowling #cmacperformance

Ion Max Review
Ball Specs: Global Sublime Focus Cover Stock 804 Solid Reactive Immersed Symmetric A.I Core Finish 2000 Grit Abralon Layout 4 x 4 x 2” Pin Buffer Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 5” Over 1/2 up Rev Rate 300. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed at release 17 Review: I have not seen the Sublime Focus rolled much around here. The ball has just been released and based on the success I have had with the Original Sublime I felt this would be a good ball. I can say The Sublime Focus was better than expected. This ball hits hard! I feel this is one that the A.I. core difference in hit really shows. The Focus even has a different, harder sound as it hits the pins. The Sublime Focus Hooks plenty but is still versatile. The Sublime Focus was forgiving when I was not very solid with my release or targeting. I feel this ball will cover a wide range of oil patterns and was very good on our slicker house shot. I could keep the ball on a tighter path in the oil or swing it to the friction with good results. The motion of this ball is pretty clean for a solid and seems to rev up nicely on the back end. The Sublime Focus should be a very good ball for a large segment of bowlers so I hope it does not get overlooked in the lineup. Hopefully bowlers can get to a Storm Match Maker Demo to roll and appreciate this ball. I would put this ball under the Ion Max and but above the Phase 2 in total hook. I think this one will be in the bag for league next week. Summary: The Sublime Focus has a nice predictable move. The roll and continuation through the pins is excellent. This ball should fit a wide range of styles and lane conditions. Ball Reviews: Ion Max: Asymmetric, strong and designed for heavy oil conditions. The Ion Max with its strong engine will combat the heaviest of oil. Built for the fresh to play on top of it early and slowly migrating in as the transition begins, the Ion Max will be the strongest ball out the bag. This ball can be used with a lot of volume, tighter oil conditions and/or longer oil patterns. Sublime Focus: Symmetric and strong. What I like about this ball is the ability to keep my angles tight and up the lane when there is more oil or they are tighter and the stronger asymmetric's are too much ball. For comparison purposes against the other symmetric solids, this will be earlier than a Phaze 2 and provide a heavier roll smoother roll. Phaze AI: The Phaze AI is a throwback to those cleaner angular Storm bowling balls. This ball reminds me of what the UC2 provided with discernible backend motion. This ball will be usable for when the lanes begin to transition, open up and left to right (for righties/reverse for lefties) is needed without losing angle and continuation down lane. This is a great option to have when the solids become too smooth. Video Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwBg2kS4_vg

Sublime Focus by RGR
900 Global Sublime Focus Core: Immersed Symmetric Cover: Reserved Blend 804 solid reactive Layout: 4 x 4 x 2 Using on Pro-Lane panels with THS for 44ft. Hi everyone, I hope all is going well in the first half of the fall bowling season! I decided to “try” to replace my current benchmark ball that I have used in league since last year. The Roto Grip Hustle X-Ray. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my 2 X-Rays but was looking to see if there was a “better” ball. I have drilled other balls from the three brands, and I have liked or loved them, but nothing has been so “steady” for me like the Hustle X- Ray. My first few rolls were better than I anticipated, I was able to start 5 boards right of my normal starting spot on the approach, but still use my target right between the 2 tracer boards down lane. I was able to stay in that area for about 40 consistent shots. Which with the X-Ray or the Ion Pro, I would have been adjusting after about 25-30 shots. My strike percentage increased by 12% over the Ion Pro and X-Ray in the same 40 consistent shots. Where I would leave blow out 10’s with the Ion Pro and weak 7’s with the X-Ray, the Sublime Focus gave me a little extra kick when carrying the corner pins. After I completed these 40 shots, I started working with the Focus by closing and opening my launch angles I was able to work with the Focus across the whole lane. Where my other 2 choices would have been a little harder to cover all the same territory on the lane, the Sublime Focus covered it all. Watching clients using them during Matchmaker events, I must encourage them to try it because they see all the hype on the Ion Pro and Ion Max, that once they try it, they lean towards the Sublime Focus. My honest opinion is that the Sublime Focus is the BEST 900 Global since they introduced the original Zen several years ago. Please DO NOT lose FOCUS on this ball. I love it!
Mine is pin up, and one of my most hooking balls in my bag. Rolls so well, I liked it a lot better when it got a little lane shine on it. The more it rolls, so far, the better its getting for the lanes I'm bowling on. If I go 1st ball out on the lanes, this ball features the new Reserve Blend 804™ Solid Reactive cover stock matched with its Immersed™ Symmetric A.I. Core, this ball meets the odds for sure. Out of the box it comes at 2000. It reacts great mid lane, then it likes the back end as well. In testing, A.I. Core Technology has been seen to strike more on the light pocket hits due to the increased energy distribution, so hopefully I wont leave as many 10 pins lol!

Sublime Focus
Welcome back as we have a great one for you from 900 Global! I want to thank you for watching and reading these reviews and hope it gives you some information to take back when looking to get your next bowling ball. TESTING ENVIRONMENT Length:42 Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): House Shot BALL: 900 Globall Sublime Focus Coverstock: Reserve Blend 804 Solid Coverstock Core: : Immersed™ Symmetric A.I. Core Finish: 2000 Grit RG: 2.49 (14 Pounds) Differential: 0.050 (14 Pounds) MB/PSA: NA (14 Pounds) ME: Right-Handed Tweener Speed: 14-15 mph Rev Rate: 210 PAP: 4 7/8 right 5/8 up Ball Layout: 4x4x4 The Sublime Focus is a much bigger and stronger version of the original Sublime. Now we have a Sublime for the fresh or a longer pattern. I found this ball to be very strong on a fresh as my first shot to see what we had was standing on 20 and looking at the 2nd arrow and after this one shot I knew we had to move left. It looked to really want to dig into the lane and off the pattern it broke loose. I moved 5 boards with my feet and started to target 12 and that ball seemed to get dialed in. I threw a few shots from there and then kept moving left to see how far I can go and after a few shots I just couldn't get the ball to stay on line and found that the Ion Max was a better choice from this zone. So if you are in the market for a bigger and stronger ball this would be a great option for league and tournament players alike. 900 Global Sublime Focus review by Lonnie Pemberton
TESTING ENVIRONMENT Length:43 Volume:Med-High Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):THS 12:1 Ratio COMMENTS Coverstock: Reserve Blend 804 Solid Reactive Core: Immersed Symmetric A.I. Finish: 2000 RG: 2.47 Differential: 0.056 ME: Right-Handed Tweener Speed: 12-13 mph Rev Rate: 315 Axis Tilt: 14° Axis Rotation: 74° PAP: 5 1/8 R 7/8 Up Ball Layout: Pin Over Bridge 5 1/8 Pin to Pap 2 3/4 Pin Buffer The newest release in 900 Global's 800 series is called Sublime Focus. The Focus features the same Immersed Core with A.I. technology in the original Sublime, this time wrapped in the 804 Reserve Blend solid cover. This is one of the most powerful Symmetric cores ever. For me the original Sublime was remarkably early for a polished ball. I tested the Sublime Focus for the first time in league. I was concerned about having as much oil as possible for this ball and it seemed like waiting for a fresh lane condition was smartest. I was shocked to find that if anything I had an easier time getting the Sublime Focus down-lane compared to the original Sublime. The Focus still gave me the strong consistent mid-lane read but it didn't stand up as sharply when it saw friction. The more drawn out transition in the back of the lane makes this ball more continous. It was plenty of ball to handle the fresh oil, but I was blown away with how well it continued to carry as the lane forced me left. I think this ball will match up to a wide variety of bowling styles. It's getting to be almost cliche to compare a ball to the Phaze II, but this ball really makes me think of the Phaze II's versatility. It is no doubt a stronger hooking ball overall, but this ball responds so well to hand position changes, and surface changes that it's standing out to me as a must for your tournament bag and an easy staple for league play. Sublime Focus
Dual Angle Layout: 80 x 5 x 30 Storm Vector Layout: 5 x 6 x 2 The New 900 Global Sublime Focus features the 804 Solid Reactive cover stock wrapped around the Immersed Symmetric AI core. I drilled my Sublime Focus to be that transition ball for dryer house shots. I am able to get left and let the ball do its thing. The Sublime Focus gives me great length for a solid ball but still stores enough energy to really pop down lane. Reaction Video: https://youtu.be/b-s3DOGmnp8?si=BJR1JDg1Bxe6nkiq

Rolls Well
The Sublime Focus has a very smooth and predictable roll for myself. I have actually been switching to this ball during transition around game 2 and it gets the corners out. I am also able to move in a little with this ball and due to it rolling up quicker it sets up and drives through the pins unlike any other solid I have used in the past. This ball is a great ball for tournaments where the lanes can be challenging.
