    in my bag!

Posted by Todd Pawlak on Jan 25th 2025

Ok all, I love this ball!!! If you had the original Zen or not, this ball is amazing. Right out of the box, Yes i shot a 300 with it. This ball rolls very well. Featuring the brand-new RB 83™ Pearl Reactive coverstock and the trusted Meditate™ Symmetric weight block with A.I. Core. Right out of the box with the Power Edge finish, it fits in my bag PERFECT, If you had the Zen, the Zen 25...to me, read the lane sooner, and had more of a cleaner back end. I had mine drilled with the pin in my middle finger. Stood 27 with my feet, looked around 16 - 17 at the arrows, break point around 8...and yeah it carried very well. Yes I shot a 300 and a 764 series on synthetic lanes, then last night I subbed on a Friday league with wooden lanes and shoot a 769 series. Only thing I had to watch is if I got in in the oil and didn't get it out as far, it didn't hook enough. If I got it right too early, it hooked a little too much. That's why I like watching the mid lane and the way a ball reads. I love the way this ball looks and how it reacts both on wooden lanes and synthetic lanes.

Zen 25 - Familiar but Different

Posted by Duane Enterline on Jan 25th 2025

Right handed 235 Average 17mph 350 rev rate The 900 Global Zen 25 pays its homage to the original Zen, but now with the AI core and the brand new Power Edge polish. I found the Zen 25 a bit cleaner and a bit more angular than the original. I have used it at box surface and I have also hit it with a 2000 pad to take the polish off. It is two different looks and I liked them both. If you liked the original Zen, then the Zen 25 should find a place in your bag.

    900 Global Zen 25

Posted by Tobias Myers on Jan 23rd 2025

The Zen 25 is the newest ball in the Zen line from 900 Global. It features the RB83 Pearl Reactive cover, Meditate Symmetric A.I. Core, and comes with Power Edge finish. This is the fourth ball in the Zen line and to me, it is the best one yet. I did not match up with the first three very well for certain reasons on each ball but this one I really like how it shapes. It is clean through the fronts with plenty of down lane motion, but it is a rounder shape. For me, it sits in between the OG Zen and Gold Label, not as early/forward as the OG and not as clean and bomb down lane as the Gold Label. I will use the Z25 when I need to ball down from something like the Origin or S2 when the lanes begin to burn up and I need a ball to clear the fronts. For me, it is in the Attention Star range of a ball but being a symmetric piece it will give me another reaction on the lanes. This is a great release by 900 Global! Zen 25!

Posted by Joshua L. Shoemaker on Jan 23rd 2025

The Zen 25 is 900 Globals newest piece. The Zen 25 features the same meditate core found in the previous Zen line balls but is now wrapped in RB 83 pearl and finished with power edge. This creates a cleaner and more responsive Zen compared to the OG. The OG for me was a little too early and forward for me to use on a variety of patterns. I believe the Zen 25 is going to be the perfect game 3 league ball when i need to move left and open the lane up. Stop into any Storm VIP pro shop and order your own today! Zen 25 Review by Kyle, Joel, & Dean Johnson

Posted by Kyle, Joel, & Dean Johnson on Jan 22nd 2025

Ball Specs: 900 Global Zen 25 Cover: Reserve Blend 83™ Pearl Reactive Core: Meditate™ A.I. Core (Symmetrical) Color: Red/Silver/Black Review: #ZenBallGood The Zen line is quickly becoming a staple line similar to the Hy-Road or Phaze lines. We were happy to see another successful Zen release after we thought it hit a bit of a plateau with the ‘Master’ and ‘Soul’ just kind being okay pieces. Going back to a more similar shape to the original, and beefed up with the A.I. core tech the Zen 25 picks up just a touch sooner and a touch more overall. We drilled this ball with our normal layout: tweener, 350-375 revs, 16.5mph, layout of choice is 4x4x2 (pin is above bridge). Although the SPI market is a bit flooded with pearls, this is our current favorite of the entire collection. The Meditate weight block really creates some continuous power through the pins that is not comparable. Pair that with an incredible cover, and new core technology and its game over for the competition. Zen-tastic!

Posted by Bradley Paynter on Jan 21st 2025

The Zen 25 by 900 Global continues the legacy of excellence in the Zen lineup, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Every ball in this series has been a favorite of mine—including the Zen Master—and the Zen 25 is no exception. Featuring the new RB 83 Pearl coverstock, this ball offers the perfect combination of length and backend motion. The "83" rating on the Reserve Blend scale ensures a clean look through the fronts with a strong, reliable reaction downlane, making it a go-to option for medium-heavy oil conditions. Whether you’re looking for confidence on tougher patterns or consistency in league play, the Zen 25 delivers.

900 Global Zen 25 by Casey Murphy

Orientation: Right Handed Rev Rate: 400 RPM Speed: 16-17 MPH PAP: 4 ½ over and 1 1/8 up Location: Enterprise Park Lanes, Springfield MO Pattern: High Volume THS VLS Layout: Layout 1: 4 5/8 x 4 x 2 ½ (Pin above bridge) Layout 2: 4 ¼ x 4 x 4 (pin below bridge) The Zen 25 is a new pearl AI Zen. And WOW! I thought I liked the OG Zen. This is better. The Zen 25 revs up quicker and is more on the back than the OG or the Zen Gold Label. The Zen 25 almost acts like it has a weight hole when it hits the midlane and makes a nice strong continuous backend. I like that because it’s control and power! I have the Zen 25 cleaner than the Optimum Idol Pearl, and the Phaze AI but stronger than the Ruby. Great new symmetrical pearl from SPI!

    Zen 25

Posted by Kassy Shumate on Jan 20th 2025

I LOVED the OG Zen. If you can believe it, they took it and made it better! This ball is so clean. The OG Zen was a bit more "rolly" than the 25 which is why I think it found its way out of my bag eventually. The Zen 25 gives you the same consistency while storing quite a bit more energy for the back end. The continuation is more comparable to my Virtual Energy Blackout which is my favorite ball of 2024 so it is no surprise I am falling in love with the 25. It is definitely going to be a standout this year in league as far as honor scores but I can't wait to see what I can do with it in tournaments coming up. It is extremely aesthetically pleasing to the eye to boot!

    900 Global Zen 25 – WWRD 1/17/2025

Posted by Patrick Dombrowski on Jan 20th 2025

Cover: RB 83 Pearl Reactive Core: Meditate Symmetric A.I. RG: 2.48 RG. Diff.: 0.053 Finish: Power Edge 900 Global’s new Zen25 is a Pearl Symmetrical piece that is good for Medium Volume patterns. PAP is 5 5/16 R 1 3/16 Up. Rev Rate: 400. Speed: 16.5. Drilled this piece with the Pin up between the fingers and CG kicked out 1” from the palm. I threw this piece on a Left Over and Fresh house pattern. Out of Box ball motion started in the mids with a sharp backend reaction through the pins. I compared this to the Xponent Pearl & Origin. Xponent Pearl was 2-2 Right with a smoother backend reaction. Origin was 2-2 Left with a smother backend reaction. This piece fits between the two pieces I compared this too. This piece will be good for all types of styles. Check Out the Ball motion Video on my YouTube Page: https://youtube.com/shorts/tai8g4NjQJ8?feature=share

    Zen 25

Posted by Blake Albers on Jan 20th 2025

I drilled the new 900 Global Zen 25 5.5x4x2. This gives me a clean option for later in the day. My initial thoughts of the ball were clean, responsive, and continuous. This new version of the original Zen features RB 83 pearl cover with the Meditate A.I. core. Compared to the original zen, this ball is more responsive off the end of the pattern, whereas the original zen read the mid-lanes a bit more. I slotted this ball under a Phaze A.I. in a tournament bag to provide the responsive, yet clean motion when the lanes dry up. This ball will carry you all throughout 2025!
