Hammer Black Widow Mania Bowling Ball

Out of all of the balls I have been blessed to throw as an ambassador for Brunswick, one line of balls I have never thrown….and that line was the Black Widow line. I wasn’t that I didn’t like them, I just never tried one because each time they came out, they just didn’t fit in my arsenal. Now, I am SO glad I took the leap and drilled up the new Hammer Black Widow Mania! Having never thrown a Black Widow, I wanted to see what made this ball so different. The HK22-Cohesion Pearl coverstock which is the same cover on the Hammer Effect which I ABSOLUTELY, so I wanted to put a 40x5x75 layout in this ball to maximize its full ball motion and give the ball continuous and predictable ball motion on any lane condition…AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! The Black Widow Mania simply an INCREDIBLE bowling ball! The ball control and predictability support all the reviews and hype I have heard for years about the Black Widow line for years. This ball is just unreal. Like the Hammer Effect and if I can be so bold….I believe we have the 2025 Ball of the Year in the Hammer Black Widow Mania!!!

Who doesn’t love a Widow? This one might just be my favorite of all. Easily gets through the fronts and with that HK22-Cohesion what more could you ask for. A great go to ball after the Widow 3.0. Easily the cleanest Widow I’ve thrown and really gets around the corner at the end of the pattern

The Black Widow Mania is another great from the Widow Line. I've been looking for a Pearl Widow that was clean with a consistent backend motion. The Black Widow Mania is a Pearl Reactive with the HK22 Cohesion which gives this ball the clean and consistent motion off the spot that I've been looking forward to. This ball will definitely be a THS killer as well as a ball that may styles of bowlers will get plenty of use . This is a great compliment to the Widow 3.0 as well as a ball that can be used behind the new 3D Offset Assault. Another great Widow from Hammer!

I love all widow version, this coverstock is different from other widows which gives me an additional option. Predictable and hits hard. Always on my bag

This one is going to be my new favorite BW Ball. I drilled mine 60x5x25 the motion I get get with this layout is a super clean ball Thu the front of the lane and a very predictable motion to the pocket. I have this ball in between the 3D assault and the Effect.

Black Widow Pink on steroids. The Black Widow Mania is clean through the front part of the lane and strong down lane. The HK22 with Cohesion pearl cover stock matches up great with the Gas Mask core. Early entry for ball of the year. The cobalt & black accented with the pink logo pass the eye test for sure.

I'm not on staff with any company, so this is an unbiased review. Hammer has figured out a way to have three Widows in the current lineup that all fit a spot in a bag without overlap. I had buddies put my favorite pin up layout on it. For me, the 3.0 is great on the fresh, 2.0 Hybrid for transition and then the Mania for when I really have to move in deep into the pattern. It has no problem getting down the lane and banking off the corner continuing through the pins. Definitely recommend the Mania.

The Black Widow Mania is going to be a HOT seller in the bowling world for 2025!! I find it to be very easy to get through the front and very responsive in the back. So much versatility and control. The color of this new piece catches the eye immediately. Best used on medium to heavy oil patterns. Don't sleep on this gem!!

I love this ball. It’s cleaner than the Black Widow 3.0, but more bite on the back. The HK22 - Cohesion Pearl cover gives this ball more back-end motion than the Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid. I have used it on both house and sport patterns, and it looks great on both. This ball works best in heavy to medium oil.
