Additional product information:

The Raw Hammer line is important to the Hammer brand; it gives new bowlers a chance to experience what Hammer is all about, and we’re proud to have redefined the entry-performance category. Choosing great colors and performance is important for this line, and we’re excited about the two new updates for this season. First, the Raw Hammer Blue / Black / Orange is a hybrid version finished with factory compound, providing a little more hook and traction. The second addition is the Raw Hammer Black / Purple / Teal. This pearl version is finished with factory polish, creating more length. The Raw Hammer line is complete with solid, pearl, and hybrid balls at different factory finishes to provide pro shops with the ability to fit bowlers into a Raw Hammer that fits their needs.

    Hammer Raw Hammer Black/Purple/Teal

Posted by douglas walters on Jan 15th 2025

The reason I gave the ball 5 stars is because it is what it is supposed to be. It is not a big hooking or very angular ball but it is not supposed to be. It is a great weaker piece intended for dryer lanes. I bought this to be my third game/ burn ball. When the oil goes and the lanes get toasty this is the ball to go to. I would recommend this ball for balanced bowlers to use when the lanes get dry as it will let you stay more in your comfort area and still get it down the lane. I would also recommend it to newer bowlers looking for their first ball as it will be great to learn to play a hook with and has enough performance that you won't outgrow it. I also would recommend it to anyone with a lower than average ball speed and also to people with high rev rates like 2 handers as it will help them get the ball down the lane and let them stay square.
