Brace yourself— a lethal dose of Venom is coming. The Venom line, already legendary, introduces the latest game-changer, the Lethal Venom. This wicked new addition offers the predictable and smooth motion you loved from the Venom Recoil but dials it up with the latest cutting-edge technology. Leverage MXC coverstock with Duramax technology pairs with the asymmetrical Gear APG core for a deadly combination.
At the heart of the Lethal Venom is the Gear APG asymmetrical core, and it’s an absolute powerhouse. With a fast-spinning low RG of 2.47, a controllably low differential of .036, and an intermediate differential of .013 — this core strikes the perfect balance of control and versatility. What does that mean for you? It’s like having the precision of the original Gear core from the Venom Shock—but on steroids. The Gear APG lets you adapt and attack the lanes with confidence.
Now, let’s talk coverstock—the Lethal Venom features the same Leverage MXC Solid Reactive cover originally found on the Subzero Forge. That means the Lethal Venom is the first Venom to contain the game-changer of Duramax additive technology! This means that the cover will hold its surface longer, have better traction in the oil, create a smooth down-lane motion, and allow for maximum control. This isn’t just innovation—it’s domination.
WHEN TO USE:
- Speed Dominant Bowlers - For speed dominant bowlers, the Venom Shock and Black Venom may be too clean to use on fresh oil. For bowlers in that situation, the Leverage MXC coverstock will give enough traction to use a lower differential core like the Gear APG when more rev dominant players are using them. Additionally, speed dominant players benefit greatly from Duramax enhanced coverstocks and the Lethal Venom will serve as a great step down from the Subzero Forge and Evoke for lower oil concentrations or straighter angles.
- Balanced - The Lethal Venom will be a great benchmark option for balanced bowlers to use as the first ball out of their bag. For balanced bowlers, a smooth, controllable, lower flaring ball is useful for reading an oil pattern and giving a great deal of control early in competition.
- Rev Dominant - Many rev dominant bowlers need smooth and controllable motion, but struggle to use high differential bowling balls. The significant flare of a high diff ball can often create issues with carry for rev dominant players. WIth the .036 differential of the Lethal Venom, rev dominant players can use something that will respond more slowly to friction on the lane without being hindered by excessive flare.

Great addition to the venom line
Once I got my hands on the Lethal I haven’t stopped throwing it. Until I started using it I would have to switch balls and zones in league making it a bit difficult to put up big numbers. I haven’t touched another in 4 weeks which is unheard of in my home house. The lethal Venom was stronger than expected. There is a sizable gap between the Black and Lethal in strength and length. The Lethal still continues plenty as it reads the lane a couple feet sooner than the Black Venom. The Lethal is my go-to ball and with the Duramax additive all I have to do is clean it after league and put it away. The cover is just as dull as day one. Eric George Motiv Staff

It's Lethal
Let just say get ready for ball or the year candidate. I drilled mine 40×4 1/2x30. This ball is stronger than the black venom, and more continous through the pins. Read the midlane with predictable effort, my my does it respond to the friction without going sideways. If you need a ball that is strong, great on sport, fresh, and the burn.

1st Motiv ball
The new lethal venom is the first Motiv ball I have ever owned. And boy did I pick a good one. I am a speed dominant lower rev player. Pap 3.75 over 1 up. Went with a 55x4x20 layout. Ball reads the midlane exceptionally and I normally struggle to pick that up but this one it is very defined. Still turns the corner and drives thru the pins. Did not like playing huge angles for me. You could see it trying but it def was burning up on the transition. I higher rev or lower speed I could see getting this ball to play angles very well. As a 1st ball out on a ths this thing is money. I have struggled last couple years to find a good asym solid but this one is def worth it's weight.
