Ordinary? Far from it. Revolutionary? Absofrigginlutely right it is. Not only are we presenting you with the most advanced core technology since the invention of sliced bread, but we also decided what the heck, why not just mix in an inner block design never before released domestically. Yeah, you read that correctly, prior to this out of this world concoction from our R&D lab, the original Momentous™ Core was exclusive to our international market. But after countless seconds, minutes, hours, days and weeks of computer research and testing, we figured out that density changes to this particular block and slug when placed in A.I. Core technology provided us with a motion we hadn’t seen before. And after multiple on lane tests, it was a quick and easy decision that we just had to wrap this baby with the time tested and proven eTrax™ PLUS Pearl Reactive coverstock to give us an overall reaction unlike anything offered on earth today.

Attention Star Review
Ball Specs: Roto Grip Attention Star E Trax + Pearl Reactive Asymmetric Momentous AV Core Finish Reacta Gloss Polished Layout 4.5 x4.5 with 2” Pin Buffer Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 5” Over 1/2 up Rev Rate 300. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed at release 17 Review: There is a lot of good things going on here with the new Attention Star. When I first saw the promo pictures and an actual demo ball at a distributor this ball was so deep purple it looked black in color. This was a nice look I thought. When I got my Attention Star it was a ton more colorful and is a beautiful color of Purple, silver and grey. I believe this will be what is released as the finish color and is better looking than what I first saw in promo. The core used in the Attention Star has been vetted overseas and desired stateside and it is finally here. The Momentous core is made even better by adding the A.I, technology to increase hit and carry. The pearl cover works great with the Reacta Gloss finish for me on this ball. What I have seen so far is a ball that is clean and angular and really delivers a smack to the pins. The Attention Star reads the friction strong with a predictable angular finish. I have been able to feed this ball to the friction and have complete trust it will recover. This ball is under my Exotic Gem in hook but above my Hustle M+M. I feel this ball will work from multiple lines for different styles of play and still have a high carry percentage. The best thing so far is I won our league strike pot with this ball so I am already ahead with this one! Summary: The Attention Star is clean and angular and has great back end motion. This ball hits hard and has great carry. The Attention Star will be a great ball to use when stronger balls read the lane too early. Attention Star
WOW! This ball is as advertised. I’ve used it in league twice on a 41’ medium oil house shot. This first time it was used for the first two games and I had to change balls. It had so much back end reaction I couldn’t keep up with it. I used Ron Hickland’s suggestion to change the surface using 2000, 3000, and 5000 CTD disks and I used it for all three games, which was a mistake but I needed to how this ball reacted for an entire series. I threw 16 strikes in 19 deliveries then I started seeing a transition (I’m a lefty, 12 mph ball speed) and I had trouble keeping up with it. I shoot 255, 212, and 172. I did have a much more manageable and totally awesome reaction with changing the surface but it MAY only be good for two games on the shot I bowl on. I can say this 14# ball carries with ease, a much better percentage than my TNT and UC2. I can’t wait until I get used to throwing this Attention Star. Thank you, Buddies. Thank you, Chris.

Attention Star
Ben Lapointe PAP: 4 7/8 over and 1 ¼ up Layout: 5.25 x 4.25 x 3 The new Attention Star from Roto Grip is one amazing addition to the HP4 line. The Attention Star provides effortless length through the fronts, and a great move off the end of the pattern. I really find this piece useful when the fronts start to go, but there is still lots of hook off the end of the pattern. The Attention Star slows down in the right spot, allowing it to not overact as soon as it sees dry. It is an excellent piece to go to, between a stronger asymmetric/symmetric ball like the Harsh Reality or Optimum Idol, and before a VEBO or IQ Tour Ruby. Own It today!!

Attention Star
The newest addition to Roto Grip’s HP4 line is none other than the Attention Star. The Attention Star features the original Momentous™ Core which was featured primarily overseas, however, Storm's R&D team wanted to make it better than ever. They used A.I. technology to create a motion that we have not seen before. This all new core is wrapped around the time tested and proven eTrax™ PLUS Pearl Reactive coverstock to give an overall reaction unlike anything offered on earth today. I personally do not have a lot of success with asymmetric pearl bowling balls, however, this ball is an exception to that. I am able to do whatever I need to with this ball, I am able to play straighter (with tighter angles) as well as move in and shape the lane as the lanes break down. You will not want to miss out on this great new ball, go to your local VIP pro shop and pick one up for yourself today!

Review
The Attention Star reminds me of the X2 from Roto Grip. We have a asymmetrical pearl with polish that is clean and provides plenty of shape down lane. This ball versatility fills a few spots for me. I can use this on the fresh where the fronts typically hook early and during transition when I look to open my angles up on the better lane surfaces and or higher volume patterns. If you enjoyed the X2 this would be a suitable replacement.

ATTENTION STAR
Hey everyone, I'm back with another ball review, and this time it's for the Roto Grip Attention Star. At 14 pounds this ball is wrapped in the eTrax PLUS Pearl reactive coverstock and has the Momentous AV + A.I. Asymmetric Core with an RG of 2.53, Diff of .046, and a 0.014 PSA.. The layout for this ball is 4.5x4.5x1 This will be a ball that will see a lot of house shots and be a big league ball. This is the ball I start throwing after the Harsh Reality has burned up and I can not get the ball to corner. This clean ball on top of that same line will get the ball back online and back to the pocket. I am going to start throwing this ball first out of the bag and then know if I have to ball down the XPonent Pearl is in the bag waiting for it’s turn. This will be the ball that you can throw your favorite layout on it and go to town. This has become a very usable ball and will be in the bag and either the first/second ball out of the bag for some time to come. Wow It Has My Attention
So I had no plans to drill this ball up but because it has the AI Core Technology it caught my Attention. I watched Mike SInek throw it at league the one night and it looked amazing. The following week I drilled mine up and it is now in my bag weekly. The pictures of the ball online does not do it justice with how amazing it looks in person. For me it gets downlane smooth like the IQ Tour Ruby but with the backend like the VEBO has. Now I see a lot more people with this ball and it definitely fits many styles.

Attention Star Review
Layout: 5 x 4 x 4 1/2 (50 x 5 x 70) Surface: Reacta Gloss The Attention Star brings the new Momentous Core (originally found overseas) with AI Technology paired with the etrax Plus Pearl Coverstock originally found on the RST X2. The Attention Star brings a more unique to the Roto Grip Line Up by being an asymmetrical pearl with less differential than the other current HP4 balls. The AI Core technology brings the RG down to 2.48 which allows this ball to read the midlane pretty well. I got to test this on a 44ft THS and a 42ft Sport Pattern. What I found on the house pattern, was that the surface of the ball is a little too clean to use mostly on the fresh but the core is strong enough to slow down in the right part of the lane. Removing the Reacta Gloss or giving a strong drilling can get the ball to be better on fresh oil conditions. The way I have mine drilled, I prefer to use it as a first transition ball due to the angle it creates. I have been very happy with this ball so far. It has much more versatility then originally expected and it reads the body of the lane very well. I had a 300 game with the first time using the ball in my league in game 2 which doesn't happen often. My pin down layout gives me slightly smoother motion then one would get with a pin up layout which I think enhances my ball reaction more. It doesn't seem to want to over flip in the dry much at all but can read the inside oil better than most other pearl balls in the lineup. On the 42ft sport condition, I see a lot of similar characteristics to the house pattern. The Reacta Gloss does not allow the ball to be fantastic on the fresh and it's not really designed for that. A ball like the Optimum Idol, Gem or Magic Gem would be a better choice for fresher oil conditions. After urethane and solid balls were used on the fresh, the Attention Star became the go to ball. It allowed me to open the lane up really well and I didn't have a fear of the ball not recovering down lane. Its strong midlane read gave me similar shape to a gem while giving much more angle down lane for continued carry. If you are looking for a medium strong ball to create angle down lane, then this Attention Star is a must to get. It has a lot of versatility and has been working well for many styles. Attention Star
Attention Star Cover Stock: eTrax Pearl Reactive Finish: Reacta Gloss Core: Momentous AV + A.I. Core Color: Berry/Silver/Iron Review: Still looking for a replacement for your UFO Alert? Look no further than the Attention Star. The Attention Star is another ball featuring the new AI core technology. I tend to pull this ball out of my bag when the lanes are just starting to transition. When throwing this ball you will see that it is great at storing energy as it clears the fronts and makes a strong motion on the backend of the lane. If you are looking for a strong asymmetrical ball to fit in right behind your Harsh Reality look no further. Will Tefft Roto Grip Pro Shop Staff Member will@parklanes.net www.rotogrip.com #SquadRG
