Ordinary? Far from it. Revolutionary? Absofrigginlutely right it is. Not only are we presenting you with the most advanced core technology since the invention of sliced bread, but we also decided what the heck, why not just mix in an inner block design never before released domestically. Yeah, you read that correctly, prior to this out of this world concoction from our R&D lab, the original Momentous™ Core was exclusive to our international market. But after countless seconds, minutes, hours, days and weeks of computer research and testing, we figured out that density changes to this particular block and slug when placed in A.I. Core technology provided us with a motion we hadn’t seen before. And after multiple on lane tests, it was a quick and easy decision that we just had to wrap this baby with the time tested and proven eTrax™ PLUS Pearl Reactive coverstock to give us an overall reaction unlike anything offered on earth today.

Attention Star
Attention Star is the return of eTrax+ Pearl, which was featured most recently on the RST-X2. This ball for me feels like a bigger version of the Rubicon UC2. Uniquely, it revs up and continues like a lot of the other A.I. core balls. What I loved about the UC2 is the way it picked up the in midlane but didn't overrespond off the spot. The Attention Star builds on that and provides a similar type of motion but in a stronger package overall. If you miss the length and predictability provided by the Rubicon UC2 and RST-X2, the Attention Star is the 2.0 version of that type of shape, with all the latest and greatest in core tech that Storm has to offer!

Star is born!
Attention Star Cover: eTrax+ Pearl Reactive Core: Momentous AV+AI RG: 2.48 RG Diff: 0.052 Int Diff: 0.017 My layout: 5 x 4.5 x 2.5 The Attention Star is a Pearl Asymmetrical ball that I see working best on medium to med-dry conditions. The pearl eTrax+ cover on the Star is clean but still maintains traction compared to other clean pearl covers. It does a great job of getting through early friction without being hyper sensitive to oil down lane. The strong low rg asymm core compliments the clean cover by revving up and giving the Star a strong medium to medium-quick response motion. I have found that the Star is best when the lanes transition past big solid balls like the Magic Gem or Reality. The Attention Star seems like a unique shape that will always be in my tournament bag. Gives me a lot of UFO Alert and RST X2 vibes!!!! <3 Bowler stats: Left handed PAP: 5 x 1/4up Rev rate: 400

Roto Grip Attention Star – WWRD 2/16/2024
Roto Grip Attention Star – WWRD 2/16/2024 Cover: eTrax Plus Pearl Reactive Core: Momentous AV + A.I. Core RG: 2.48 RG. Diff.: 0.049 Finish: Reacta Gloss Roto Grip’s new Attention Star is an Asymmetrical Pearl piece that is good for Medium-Heavy Volume Patterns. PAP is 5 5/16 R 1 3/16 Up. Rev Rate: 400. Speed: 16.5. Drilled this piece with the Pin above the bridge, CG kicked out 1” from the palm. I threw this piece on a fresh house 43’ pattern. Out of box ball motion was clean through the fronts with a hockey stick motion on the backend. I compared this piece to the Roto Grip TNT Infused and the Infused was 2-2 right with a smoother shape on the backend. This piece is similar to the RST X-2. If your looking for a strong pearl piece with backend this is the ball to get. Check Out the Ball motion Video on my YouTube Page: https://youtu.be/cTYyim_jJ6o

Attention Star
Roto Grip Attention Star Coverstock: eTrax + Pearl Reactive Finish: Reacta Gloss Core: Momentous AV + A.I. (14 pd) RG: 2.53 Differential: 0.046 Int Diff: 0.014 Layout: 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3 1/4 - 2LS Layout Extras: 3 Finger Depth, "X" - 4 1/2 D and 1 Inch Left Tester: PAP 6 1/2 R, 1 1/4 D Review: The Attention Star features the Momentous Altered Variant + Amplified Inertia Core Technology. Basically what this means is Roto Grip has taken a core previously featured internationally and brought it to the states with a few upgrades. This ball pour is also quite stunning in its color combinations. The ball intent is to create a ball motion not readily seen in the SPI line of bowling balls. In comparison to my Roto Grip UC-2 and my RST X-2 which were 15pds the Attention Star may have more utility in my bag. At times my UC-2 would get a tad forward and my RST X-2 would feel a bit long sending it down the lane. To be fair the Attention Star does still seem unique compared to the balls I noted above. Especially in the middle part of the lane. The Attention Star gets length and I'm liking how strong it is and does not quit like other asyms I've seen in this category of ball. Maybe a better way to say this is that I'm liking the core and cover offering of this ball. For me, I really desire an option for sport and league patterns where control is the key, yet I want to have some asym options as a thumbless player. The Attention Star I did take some of the Reacta Gloss off with a 3K Abralon pad by hand. This helped me adjust the length of the ball, but did not have the ball burn up to soon on the THS HPL shots we bowl on. I feel the Attention Star is going to see a lot of play and has already been a PBA Tour favorite thus far. As noted the cover comes out with Reacta Gloss from the factory so I'm debating between that 3K and 2K Abralon finish by hand as I experiment more with this ball. I'm very excited about this particular ball being an asymmetric with A.I. and initial use has shown the ball has nice and strong reaction yet I do not need to get overly steep with angles. This is not what you generally see in most asym pieces. Be sure to grab an Attention Star today. It might just be the surprise of the season. Michael Slatky 900 Global Staff Member York, PA

Attention Star!
The Attention Star is Roto Grips newest HP4 ball. The AS features the momentous core wrapped in eTrax pearl plus. Ever since the UFO Alert was discontinued, I’ve felt like the SPI line has been missing a similar shape. When I was first told about the AS, I had high hopes. Those hopes were exceeded and then some. For me, the AS is a clone of the UFO Alert. I was able to throw the AS right on top of my Alert. Having thrown the AS a lot already, I can see this one being in my bag for the foreseeable future. Roto Grip Attention Star Review
The Roto Grip Attention Star features the eTrax plus pearl cover and the Momentous AV + A.I. Core. This cover was featured on the RST X-2. This ball is clean through the fronts and plenty of shape down lane when it sees the friction. In the Roto line the Attention Star will sit below the Exotic Gem. I did compare it to the Exotic and the Exotic is just an overall stronger ball. It is earlier and will be able to handle more oil than the Attention Star. When the Exotic is too much ball, the Star will be a great ball down to handle the transition better. The Attention Star will be a great middle of the bag ball in the Roto lineup! Roto Grip Attention Star review by Lonnie Pemberton
Ball: Cover: eTrax PLUS Pearl Reactive Core: Momentous AV + A.I. Core Finish: Reacta Gloss RG: 2.48 (15) Differential: 0.049 (15) ME: Right-Handed Tweener Speed: 12-13 mph Rev Rate: 315 Axis Tilt: 14° Axis Rotation: 74° PAP: 5 1/8 R 7/8 Up Ball Layout: Pin Tall Over Ring 5 X 5 1/2 X 1 1/4 VLS The New Roto Grip HP4 release brings a core previously featured in overseas releases stateside, wrapped in AI technology. The Momentus AV + AI core is wrapped up with Etrax Plus Pearl to give you one of the most responsive pearls ever seen in the line. All together these add up to the new Attention Star. I tested the Attention Star for the first time in league. Our house shot while Longer and higher volume is very cliffed. On the fresh the cover tended to over-read the friction and under-read the oil as you would expect from a quick response ball on a 12 to 1 pattern. The attention star is much better for me game two when the fronts start to break down. Especially in my home center where the length and volume of the pattern tends to make the back-end tighten up a bit as well. Where this can give some balls fits, you can open up the angle with the Attention Star, let it see the friction to the right a little earlier and watch it tear through the carry-down. I do feel that this ball is a little pattern specific, at least with the layout I chose, but it's definitely a combination of clean and strong that you can tailor to different styles of bowler with the right layout. Attention Star Ball Review
Weight: 14 lbs. Pin Length: 3-3.5” Drilling: 75 x 4-3/4 x 55 Drilling VLS: 4-3/4 x 5-3/8 x 3-1/2 Pattern Length: 41 ft. Pattern Volume: Medium Pattern Type: THS Right Handed The Attention Star has the original Momentous Core, previously only available in the international releases. It’s wrapped in the proven eTrax PLUS Pearl Reactive cover stock. This is an Asymmetrical ball in the Roto Grip HP4 line of balls. The box finish is reacta gloss. As always, the surface can be altered to suit a variety of lane conditions. It is an attractive Berry/Silver/Iron color. I have used the Attention Star on a 41 ft. kegel house pattern, and a modified House tournament pattern. I’ve thrown the Attention Star at the reacta gloss box finish, and haven’t made any surface changes. I’ve found this to be a very good ball on fresh back ends. Once the carry down comes into play, I can move out a couple boards and keep the ball playing well. As the lanes broke down, I was able to move back in and did not lose my carry. The Attention Star is very strong through the pins, even for a lower rev player. I am able to use this ball for all 3 games on league. My first set out of the box was 781 and i didn’t put it down at all during the evening. The Attention Star has earned a spot in my bag every time I shoe up. It gets through the heads extremely clean and goes into a nice roll down lane. I highly recommend the Attention Star, and add a star if you’re a lower rev player like myself. Don’t miss out on this ball. You won’t regret buying it. Carol Teel Roto Grip Amateur Staff Member

Attention Star
Attention Star - Ball Specs Cover Stock: eTrax Pearl Reactive Finish: Reacta Gloss Core: Momentous AV + A.I. Core Color: Berry/Silver/Iron RG: 2.48 Differential: 0.049 Intermediate Diff: 0.017 Review The Roto Grip high performance Attention Star has the Momentous AV + A.I. Core wrapped with eTrax Pearl reactive coverstock, which makes it clean through the fronts with a strong arching playable backend motion. I tested this ball on a 43 feet typical house pattern with no issues playing right of the track area and left of 25. As a low to medium rev player this ball will be great on house patterns and medium oil tournament patterns. The Attention Star is similar to Roto Grip’s UFO Alert. This is a great ball for all levels of bowlers. Order one from your local pro shop today! My ball review videos are posted on YouTube channel Stanley Waite. New Benchmark Ball!
I love a ball that preserves energy on the back end, but the way the attention star does is extremely unique in my opinion. Much like the virtual, it gets through the front part of the lane with ease, however, the difference is the energy the attention star is able to retain off the spot to have a driving motion through the pins that I have not experienced quite the same with any other ball. I have the option to start with it in league or use it once the friction has started to begin to transition the lanes, either way, the attention is a heavy hitter than I believe will be around for a very very long time.
